Michael Boswell
Founder, President, & CEO

Michael Boswell, a Montgomery native, founded the Boswell Family Charitable Foundation on his deep belief in the American dream and the biblical passage, “Whatsoever You Do to the Least of My Brothers You Do unto Me” (Matthew 25:31-46). A 20-year career military officer and a published author, Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Auburn University at Montgomery and two Master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Naval War College. His personal journey from humble beginnings drives his passion to ensure every child has the support they need to succeed.

Rob Fekete
Vice President - Acting

A retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel, Robert Fekete brings 25 years of senior logistics and strategic leadership experience to the Boswell Family Charitable Foundation. He commanded squadrons of over 400 people and managed assets exceeding $1 billion, applying his expertise across five continents. Now leveraging this professional background in defense and innovation, he brings his commitment to precision and purpose to the foundation’s Christ-centered mission. His dedication to service ensures every effort creates a profound, lasting impact on the lives of young people and the Montgomery community.

Amanda Amaya
Chief Financial Officer - Acting

A 23-year United States Air Force veteran and expert in large-scale operations and strategic planning, Amanda Amaya brings her proven track record of driving efficiency and innovation to the foundation. With extensive experience in optimizing logistics and managing substantial budgets, she is committed to transforming complex challenges into streamlined solutions. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership. She is passionate about using her skills to empower others and strengthen communities.

Carina Harrison
Director of Operations

Carina Harrison, a founding member and the Chief of Community Outreach, is a Montgomery native and a 20-year career military officer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Auburn University at Montgomery and two Master’s degrees from Touro University and the Air Command and Staff College. Carina is deeply committed to giving back to the community where she grew up and ensuring that as many children as possible have opportunities they would not otherwise have. Her passion for connecting with the community is invaluable to the foundation’s mission.

Dr. Scott Rogers
Scholarship Committee Chairperson

Dr. Scott Rogers, the foundation’s Vice President and a founding member, brings a wealth of professional and academic experience to our mission. As an Environmental Coordination Engineer at the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), he is also an adjunct professor and a peer-reviewed scholar. His work with youth, including classes on STEM concepts and preparation for college success, directly aligns with the foundation’s commitment to educational advancement. Dr. Rogers holds a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
