Introducing the BFCF Class of 2026

Today, the Boswell Family Charitable Foundation proudly announces the recipients of the 2025-2026 Boswell Family Scholarship and the Eron L. Coleman STEM Scholarship. We share this announcement with immense gratitude, knowing that our Christ-centered mission to further Christ’s Kingdom through education is only possible because of the donors, volunteers, and community members who invest in our foundation.

The 2026 cycle brought us one of the most accomplished, community-rooted applicant pools in our history. Twenty-four exceptional students submitted required materials—including their resumes, transcripts, personal statements, and letters of recommendation. While the selection process was genuinely difficult due to the extraordinary caliber of the applicants, we are honored to introduce the BFCF Scholar Class of 2026, listed below in alphabetical order by last name:

The Boswell Family Scholarship

Awarded to Montgomery-area high school seniors demonstrating academic excellence, financial need, personal character, and community commitment.

Jayden Barnes

Booker T. Washington Magnet High School → Howard University

Jayden will attend Howard University this fall to study Criminology, Sociology, and African American Studies on his path to becoming a dedicated defense attorney and a voice for the voiceless.

Maryam Khan

LAMP High School → University of Alabama at Birmingham

Maryam is heading to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to study political science with a pre-law concentration, utilizing her extensive national debate and academic background to become a practicing attorney.

Connor Owens

Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School → Fisk University

Connor will attend Morehouse College this fall to pursue pre-medicine and dual-enrollment coursework as he trains to bring accessible psychiatric care to underserved communities.

The Eron L. Coleman STEM Scholarhip

Named in honor of Eron L. Coleman, this scholarship supports Montgomery-area seniors pursuing higher education pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Madison Brundidge

Booker T. Washington Magnet High School → University of Alabama at Birmingham

Madison ranks fourth in her graduating class and will attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s School of Nursing this fall to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving forensic patients.
