At the Boswell Family Charitable Foundation, we are celebrating a truly fantastic milestone this month. We are thrilled to announce that we have received 24 applications for our 2026 scholarship program! This represents a significant increase from past years and is a beautiful testament to the growing reach of our Christ-centered mission to empower underserved youth.
Behind every one of these 24 applications is a young scholar with a unique story, a drive to succeed, and a vision to make a difference in the world.
Inside the Working Board’s Review Process
Gathering applications is only the first step. As a true “Working Board,” our directs are deeply involved in the operational heavy lifting required to ensure these funds go to the most deserving candidates. We do not take this responsibility lightly.
Our scholarship review process is rigorous, objective, and prayerful. Each applicant is evaluated based on their submitted materials, which include their resume, official transcripts, personal statements, and letters of recommendation. Our board members dedicate hours to reading these personal narratives, looking for students who not only demonstrate academic promise but who also align with our core values of integrity, service, and perseverance.
Important Dates on the Horizon
As we dive into Q2, our team is working diligently toward two critical deadlines:
- May 15th: The final day for our Working Board to complete all application reviews.
- May 20th: Announcement Day! We will publicly celebrate our selected 2026 BFCF Scholars.
