You’re Invited: 2026 BFCF Scholarship Awards Luncheon — August 1

A long banquet table elegantly set for a formal Boswell Family Charitable Foundation event, featuring white floral centerpieces and large windows overlooking a green landscape.

The Boswell Family Charitable Foundation invites you to join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026 for the 2026 BFCF Scholarship Awards Luncheon at Arrowhead Country Club in Montgomery, Alabama.

This is the moment we sit across the table from the students whose futures this community helped build. And we would love for you to be at that table.

🎓 2026 BFCF Scholarship Awards Luncheon

RSVP is required. To reserve your seat, visit GiveButter or contact us at [email protected].

A few details to know when you RSVP: you’ll have the opportunity to let us know if you’ll be bringing any guests – up to two are welcome! Each guest’s meal will be $27, payable upon RSVP or the day of the event. We’d also love for scholars and their families to invite a favorite teacher and/or guidance counselor to join us. This celebration belongs to the people who helped get them here just as much as it belongs to them.

Who We’re Celebrating: The BFCF Class of 2026

This luncheon formally honors the four students who received BFCF scholarship awards in the 2025-2026 cycle. You’ve read their stories throughout June — and now it’s time to celebrate them in person.

Maryam Khan – Boswell Family Scholarship • University of Alabama at Birmingham, International Studies/Pre-Med

Jayden Barnes – Boswell Family Scholarship • Howard University, Criminology & Sociology

Connor Owens – Boswell Family Scholarship • Morehouse College, Pre-Med

Madison Brundidge – Eron L. Coleman STEM Scholarship • University of Alabama at Birmingham, Nursing

These four students were selected through a competitive blind review process from a pool of 24 applicants. Their full stories are available in the individual Scholar Spotlight posts published throughout June. If you haven’t had a chance to read them, we encourage you to — each one is extraordinary.

A Note on the GACAC Campaign

While we prepare to celebrate our scholars, the 2026 Give a Child a Christmas campaign continues to build toward its November 15 close. Scholarships and holiday gifts are two expressions of the same mission — and this community shows up for both.

If you haven’t given to GACAC yet, there’s still time. Every dollar goes into the pooled fund that serves every enrolled child equally on Christmas morning. Give at https://givebutter.com/gacac2026.

We look forward to seeing you on August 1. There is nothing quite like sitting across the table from the students whose futures your generosity helped make possible — and this year’s class will leave you incredibly proud.
