GIVE A CHILD A CHRISTMAS

Every Donor Gives.

Every Child Receives.

This year we’re simplifying how BFCF gives — and how we give credit. All G.A.C.A.C. donations now pool into a single fund. No more one-donor-per-child logistics. Your gift works alongside every other donor’s, and every contributor is recognized.

New in 2026: The pooled fund model means smaller gifts create bigger impact. Everyone contributes, everyone gets credit for the whole. We open July 1 and close November 15 — giving us solid lead time to source and deliver every gift before Christmas.

We announce awards before National College Decision Day (May 1) so you know our decision before you have to make yours. No student should commit to a college — or decline a financial aid package — without knowing every scholarship they’ve earned.

Two Scholarships — Choose One to Apply For
Each student selects one scholarship on their application. The Boswell Family Scholarship is open to students pursuing any college degree. The Eron L. Coleman STEM Scholarship is for students specifically pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Read both descriptions carefully and apply for the one that best matches your goals.

WINTER GIVING CAMPAIGN

Year-End Generosity

That Keeps Giving

When the G.A.C.A.C. campaign closes on November 15, our Winter Giving Campaign opens the very next day. It runs through January 31 — capturing Giving Tuesday, Christmas generosity, and year-end charitable giving to fund BFCF’s operational mission and scholarship program.

  • Giving Tuesday — December 3
The national day of giving falls right in our campaign window. Targeted social content and donor outreach will be ready to maximize this moment.
  • Year-End Tax Giving — December
Donors seeking to maximize charitable deductions before December 31. A prime outreach window for higher-capacity supporters.
  • New Year Renewal — January
Fresh-start energy and new-year intentions create a natural re-engagement window for lapsed donors and new supporters.
